As a young child playing house was one of my favorite things to do! Now as a momma of 6 kiddos and a wife to one great guy~ I get to do what I love every day~
My 6 yr old daughter and 3 year old son love playing house or some variation of it. I heard him this morning saying, "Baby Lu's the mom and I'm the dad." I will often hear my 3 yr old saying, "Mom" only to turn to me and say "I'm not talking to you." Usually his big sister is his mom. I love it! She helps him brush his teeth and put on his pjs. Playing house is great!
Georgiann, Just dropped by to catch up on what's been going on with you and your family. I do so love to read here. You encourage me more than you know!! God is so good!! Hopefully I will have time to post on my blog again soon!! Blessings!! Kris
My life's dream too has always been to be a wife and mother! It warms my heart to see my daughter playing mommy to her dollies. I recently found a little children's book, a reprint of a 1967 Little Golden Book called "Little Mommy." It's a precious little book! I did a review of it here http://mamamiragesreviews.blogspot.com/ It's a new favorite for me and my daughter. :)

ReplyDeleteWhen I was young, all I wanted to be when I was grown up was to be a wife and mother. :) It never changed and I'm so blessed. God is good. :)
