In a small bowl stir together:
1/2 cup cream cheese, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup honey
a pinch of salt and a dash of vanilla.
Take 6 pears......cut in 1/2 and core.
Lay pear halves cut side down on a plate and microwave for 2 minutes or until fork tender.
To serve:
Place a pear half on a saucer, put a
small dollop of cream cheese sugar sauce in the center of pear.
Top with homemade whip cream and chopped pecans and enjoy!
My kiddos just love these easy pears!
The cream cheese sugar sauce also makes a good dip
for apple slices!

Yum, your pears look yummy. I have been knee deep in pears myself as my parents have 17 trees on their property (yikes!). My favorite use this year has been making pear nectar and freezing it. It's kind of like pear-flavored lemonade. I'm going to poke around your blog now. It seems like you've got some interesting recipes here :)
