I was hoping to have our Easter Egg hunt while the girls were still in their pretty dresses....
but the reality was that I had not dyed the eggs yet (or even boiled them up) EEKKK!
So our hunt was delayed about a hour!
Quick like a bunny.....I got the eggs ready in record speed.
After a quick boil I took the eggs and squirted food coloring on them and gave them a roll around in the pan!...no diping or vinigar needed!
The girls did not get to help:(
There was no mess:) sigh*
I was hoping to have the girls help me the day before and try some all natural ways of coloring the eggs, but I was tired and having a lazy day on Saturday! Yep! Me,my cup of tea and a book! I did not stress about it!
Some things are just that way around here! I just let my day unfold like a beautiful flower.
I did do a photo shoot with the girls in the house with their dresses on....before they changed!
(Olivia put her PJ's on....she learns well from her momma) LOL sign**
I did not manage to get Nick or Noah photograghed before my camrera said "memory FULL". :(
Some fun things we found during our FAMILY egg hunt was a stray tulip in a pile if dirt and weeds next to my garden. And Noah discovered that our 3 hens had laid 18 eggs!!!! We really need to start remembering to check 2x a day! The weather has been really cool here lately and after doing the "float or sink" test with the eggs they were deamed good to eat!
Well I have to go for now.....but I'll be back later to post some pictures of the girls indoor photo shoot!
Warm Blessings,
Georgiann
