Doggie Spa~

Well those of you that follow my blog know our funny beagle and his love for adventures! Well he found and rolled in something VERY stinky so he was in urgent need of a bath!
As soon as he heard the word bath he went running....and not for the tub!
I had to carry our fat beagle up the stairs to the tub!
Two of my boys were eager to get him all soaped up! A fun time was had by everyone.....and after a good rinse and a quick towel dry, Benson our dog was quit frisky....running all over in a playful way! (very unusual for him)
I think he was glad the stink was finally gone!

Well, one chore done and 99 left to do before my parents get here in 2 days!.....and the BIG bridal shower I'm giving for my sister this weekend at my home!

Hope everyone is having a productive day!

Blessings,
Georgiann

  1. Ingredients:

    2 c. milk
3 cucumbers, peeled, seeded and diced
3 cups of homemade cream of potato soup (or 2 cans of organic cream of potato soup)
+ or – 1tsp. salt (watch that you don’t over salt this soup)
    ½ tsp. freshly ground pepper
2 cups of heavy cream (I use the cream from the top of the raw milk we buy)
    Freshly chopped chives

    Directions:

Pour 1 c. of milk and cucumber into food processor or blender. Blend until the cucumber is finely minced. Add 1 ½ cups of the potato soup (1 can), blend. Pour out mixture into bowl. Set aside. Blend other 1 ½ cups of potato soup with remaining ingredients, except chives. Combine in bowl with other ingredients, except chives. Stir in more milk if you would like a thinner soup (add to taste and consistency preference). Chill thoroughly. To serve, spoon into cups or bowls & sprinkle with chopped chives.

    Serves 6 respectively

    enjoy!
